Job Details

The Tool Maker will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in production. This role requires strong attention to detail, a creative problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Build, assemble, and fit new injection molds, dies, and fixtures according to engineering specifications
Repair, modify, and maintain existing tools and dies to ensure optimal performance
Operate manual and CNC machines including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM equipment
Read and interpret complex blueprints, sketches, and part drawings
Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve tooling design and performance
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety procedures

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands on experience as a Tool Maker or equivalent role
Proficiency in machining, grinding, and hand fitting operations
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T
Experience with wire EDM and/or CNC machining preferred
Excellent problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude
Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently
