Job Details

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in supply chain, logistics or accounting
  • U.S. Customs Broker License
  • 10 years of strong in-depth experience with U.S. Customs, various Global Customs, and other government agency applicable laws
  • Must possess the ability to navigate a complex legal framework and understand how domestic and international trade laws/regulations impact the company’s global supply chain.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team, with strong personal organization, poise, and professionalism
  • Honing your ability to persuade, market and sell new ideas based on culture, audience, and business needs

Responsibilities:
  • This role will provide strategy for all customs brokerage and import/export compliance functions, along with Free Trade Agreements to ensure the company is gaining the most competitive advantage and cost savings opportunities
  • Manage the Import and Export Program including documentation and processes for Industries which includes a volume of 20k to 30k containers from multiple countries
  • Be the point of contact for export audits conducted by foreign Customs officials leading cost avoidance audits
  • Interface with Customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate clearance of import/export cargo
