Looking for a highway Traffic Control Branch Manager for a large Traffic Control company in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have highway traffic control experience and at least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Job Details

Requirements:
Must have industry specific experience - highway/roadwork traffic control
Must have supervisory experience in traffic control (2+ years preferably)
Strong leadership and people skills
Understanding of how to run a branch - Able to coordinate projects, equipment and staff, time sheets, etc.
Industry contacts if possible- customers you can bring with you

Responsibilities:
Ensuring quality control
Direct supervision of Superintendent
Project management, profitability, and ticket/quantity review
Oversee scheduling and dispatch of crews
Logistics for job equipment
Overseeing sign shop and inventory control
Maintain branch backlog of all projects
Execution of company policies and procedures particularly related to HR, safety and quality control
Assist in hiring, discipline, counseling, and termination of branch employees
Serve a hands-on role in every aspect of construction management including completing projects by completion dates
Oversight of leadership development at their assigned office and assisting with implantation within the company
Oversight of all branch operations
Seek out new customers and report weekly business development progress
