We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Training and Development Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Energy industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for training and development, with a strong background in curriculum development and higher education. As a Training and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs to ensure our students have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their careers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and deliver training programs for Students in the Energy, Solar, or HVAC industries
• Develop training materials, including presentations, handouts, and other materials
• Conduct training sessions, both in-person and online, to ensure students have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their careers
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training and development
• Manage and maintain training records and documentation
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and relevant
• Provide coaching and support to students as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in training and development, curriculum development, or higher education
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of the Energy, Solar, or HVAC industries is a plus
