We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling complex real estate transactions beyond residential closings, with a focus on commercial real estate, development, and land use matters. Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and development projects
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase & sale agreements, leases, easements, and loan documents
  • Advise clients on title, survey, zoning, and land use matters
  • Provide counsel to developers, landlords, lenders, and tenants on real estate strategies and risks
  • Work closely with firm leadership and clients to structure and close transactions efficiently

Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Illinois
  • 3–7 years of real estate experience, with a focus on commercial transactions preferred
  • Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, title/survey issues, and financing structures
  • Experience with land use/zoning or development projects is a plus
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and client-relations skills
