We are currently seeking a Transactional Real Estate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of complex real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, agreements, corporate securities, and financing. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and services to ensure the organization is operating within the law at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of complex real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, and financing agreements.
  • Provide legal advice on a wide range of real estate matters, including property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various real estate issues and prepare legal memorandums, as needed.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to ensure all transactions are carried out in compliance with the law and company policies.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of corporate securities documents.
  • Advise on real estate financing structures and negotiate financing documents.
  • Coordinate and manage outside legal counsel on real estate matters, as necessary.
  • Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact the company's real estate transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be a member in good standing with a state Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on transactional matters.
  • Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex real estate agreements.
  • Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to real estate transactions, corporate securities, and financing.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
