Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement transportation engineering solutions for a variety of projects.
- Utilize ASTA, AutoTURN, ArcGIS, Civil3D, and GIS applications to create and manage transportation designs and plans.
- Work with signCAD, municipal and state DOTS, state and federal transportation to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Create and design highway plans that meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Leverage experience with InRoads, MicroStation, power inroads SS4, connect edition, and open roads plus to optimize project outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in transportation engineering technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering.
- Proficiency in ASTA, AutoTURN, ArcGIS, Civil3D, and GIS applications.
- Experience with signCAD, municipal and state DOTS, state and federal transportation.
- Proven ability to design highway plans.
- Extensive knowledge of InRoads, MicroStation, power inroads SS4, connect edition, and open roads plus.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and federal/state regulations.
- Ability to travel as needed for on-site project work.
