This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the country, from designing and building construction to warehouses, distribution centers, etc. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be a key player in the success of our projects, acting as the liaison between the construction team, clients, and stakeholders. This is a full-time position with extensive travel required.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing construction activities from start to finish.
2. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope and within budget.
3. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications.
4. Review work progress on a daily basis, identifying any issues or delays and implementing solutions.
5. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
6. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety codes.
7. Act as the point of contact for clients, architects, and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
8. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.
9. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain necessary permits and licenses.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role.
3. Proven experience in commercial and industrial construction projects, specifically with design-build construction, warehouses, distribution centers, and big box warehouses.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety guidelines.
5. Excellent ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
6. Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
8. Willingness to travel extensively for project assignments.
9. Proficiency in construction management software.
10. Valid certification in construction safety and a valid driver’s license.
