Join our dynamic team as a Permanent Electrical Superintendent! We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced professional with a passion for excellence and a keen eye for detail. This role is not for the faint-hearted, but for someone who thrives on challenges and is willing to travel as part of their job.

As an Electrical Superintendent, you will be at the heart of our construction projects, playing a critical role in ensuring that all electrical systems are installed correctly and efficiently. You will be working on a variety of projects, including commercial buildings, warehouses, distribution centers, cold storage facilities, and tilt wall/tilt-up constructions. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage and lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to create and implement electrical plans.
• Manage and lead a team of electricians and apprentices, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure work is progressing as planned and meeting project deadlines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise during the construction process.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of all electrical work done on projects.
• Train and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Foster a safe work environment by enforcing strict adherence to company's safety policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proven experience working on commercial buildings, warehouses, distribution centers, cold storage facilities, and tilt wall/tilt-up constructions.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems and the ability to read and interpret electrical plans and blueprints.
• Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and building codes pertaining to electrical work.
• Ability to travel as needed for projects.
• Relevant certification or license as an electrician or electrical contractor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
