Job Details:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Permanent Traveling Field Superintendent for our dynamic construction team. This is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects across the country, providing on-site leadership and ensuring the smooth execution of construction operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from planning to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards of quality. This position requires extensive travel and offers a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including initial planning, execution, and completion.
2. Coordinate and supervise on-site operations, ensuring that all work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
3. Direct and manage project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and laborers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
4. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, conducting regular site inspections and audits.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
6. Manage project budget and resources, identifying any potential issues or risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
7. Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure timely and successful completion.
8. Resolve any on-site issues or disputes, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
9. Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior staff, promoting continual learning and development.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction management role, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects.
2. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
3. Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and coordinate on-site operations.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly and effectively resolve issues or disputes.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
6. Proficient in project management software and tools, with a strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
7. Willingness to travel extensively for project assignments.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. Certifications in project management, safety, and/or construction are considered an asset.
