Traveling Industrial Superintendent

Located in St Louis, MO, we are a growing construction company who is looking for a Traveling Industrial Superintendent to manage construction projects throughout the midwest. The Industrial Superintendent will oversee the construction of Light Industrial, Manufacturing, and/or Food & Beverage related projects in the field, provide leadership to field foremen, subcontractor management, and ensure successful and timely completion of trade work.

• Assist Project Manager in development of Chart of Accounts
• Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents
• Assist in development of detailed CPM Schedule and Scope of Work
• Develop a project site logistics plan
• Assist Project Engineers in Shop Drawing and Submittal process
• Review and understand material budgets and negotiate purchase orders

Full time direct hire position

• Competitive base salary $100,000-$200,000, plus annual bonus

Must Haves:

• 10+ years building experience on light industrial, light manufacturing, food & beverage or related experience required
• Previous Superintendent experience directing and coordinating trades
• Knowledge of construction principles/practices required
• Experienced in dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform work
• Previous experience working with Project Management team for successful completion of project
• Experience working on $50 million+ size projects
• Self-perform background preferred
