Position Overview: We’re seeking an experienced PLC Technician with strong proficiency in ABB PLCs and ladder logic programming. This is a field-based role requiring frequent travel to customer sites across the U.S. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and has hands-on expertise in commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing industrial control systems.

Position Overview: We’re seeking an experienced PLC Technician with strong proficiency in ABB PLCs and ladder logic programming. This is a field-based role requiring frequent travel to customer sites across the U.S. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and has hands-on expertise in commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing industrial control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, install, and commission ABB PLC systems and SCADA interfaces
- Develop and troubleshoot ladder logic for industrial automation projects
- Perform system testing, I/O checks, and integration with third-party systems
- Travel to mission-critical sites (data centers, industrial facilities) across the country
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure quality delivery
- Provide support during and after system startup to resolve technical issues
- Document code, system changes, and commissioning steps
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with ABB PLCs and ladder logic
- Strong understanding of SCADA systems and industrial automation networks
- Experience working in data centers, industrial, or mission-critical environments preferred
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Comfortable with a travel rotation of 2 weeks onsite / long weekend home
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks for secure facilities
