This individual MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE BUILDING STORAGE FACILITIES OR GROUND UP MULTI-STORY COMMERCIAL PROJECTS. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all stages of commercial construction projects from inception to completion. Must have self-storage background and experience building single and multi-story storage units. This position offers an exciting opportunity for those who love to travel and have a keen interest in multi-story commercial construction, specifically in the self-storage space. You will be working on various commercial projects across different locations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed within the stipulated time frame and budget.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors at different stages of the project.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement project schedules, manage daily operations, and coordinate the work of all parties involved in the project.
- Handle on-site issues and emergencies promptly, making necessary adjustments to ensure project continuity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists to ensure project goals are met.
- Prepare and submit regular project reports, keeping the management informed about the project status and any issues that may arise.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards, promoting a safe work environment for all staff.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent with self-storage background
- Proficient in ground-up, commercial, multi-story construction projects.
- Extensive experience in traveling roles, demonstrating the ability to manage projects in various locations.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Willingness to travel extensively as per project requirements.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
