We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Superintendent with a strong background in data center/battery plant construction to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and will be responsible for coordinating all site construction activities and supervising field personnel. - Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Schedule and coordinate all subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries, ensuring that all resources are available as needed.
- Implement and maintain a comprehensive project schedule, making updates and adjustments as necessary.
- Directly supervise and mentor field personnel, promoting a positive work environment and fostering a culture of safety and professionalism.
- Coordinate and oversee all work on-site, ensuring all work is being done properly and in accordance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure that all safety regulations and guidelines are being followed.
- Act as the primary liaison between the construction site and the project management team, providing regular updates and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
- Review and approve all subcontractor and vendor invoices and ensure all work is being billed correctly.
- Resolve any conflicts or disputes that arise, ensuring all issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Continually evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Superintendent role within the construction industry.
- Proven experience with light industrial (manufacturing, warehouse/distribution and food processing facilities is a plus along with associated interior buildouts. Design-build experience is preferred)
- Exceptional knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to schedule and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor field personnel.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficient in using construction management software and technology.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
