Job Details

General Job Description:

· Our Client is looking for an experienced hands-on Construction Superintendent willing to travel and able to lead rebranding and maintenance construction projects across the country. Assignments are generally 3-5 weeks at the time with a break in between assignments.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage a crew of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation

· Collaborate with clients, construction & project managers to determine budget and timeline

· Coordinate materials and equipment deliveries with vendors and suppliers

· Assist in creating a schedule for workers and subcontractors

· Maintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary

· Conduct daily toolbox talks with the crew to review safety conditions and submit daily JSA to management

· Identify changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines

· Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient

Minor Duties and Responsibilities:

· Remodeling of convenience stores and quick serve restaurants along with kitchen equipment installation

· Exterior convenience store remodeling

· Installation of fuel brand image on canopies, dispensers, and price signs

· Scope may include but is not limited to framing (wood or metal studs), tiling, flooring, wall covering (ex. FRP, drywall, tiling), cabinetry, equipment installation, ceiling grids, ACM and sheet metal, painting, minor electrical (standard & low voltage)

Skills & Qualifications:

· Min. 5-10 years managing commercial construction projects

· Excellent communication abilities, including writing, speaking and active listening

· Knowledge of construction best practices

· Good planning skills, including design execution, resource allocation and contingencies

· Understanding of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance issues

· In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations

· Great problem-solving and decision-making skills

· Effective leadership abilities, like motivation, goal setting and conflict management

· Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking

· A good work ethic and strict adherence to safe work practices

· Candidate must have reliable truck and general construction tools

· Experience with electrical or plumbing is beneficial

· 04 sign electrical license a plus

· Able to read construction blueprints and interpret drawings and specifications
