Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of construction from initial planning to completion. This includes but is not limited to site preparation, scheduling, budgeting, and project closeout.
  • Ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Review and interpret project plans and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to monitor progress and address any issues or concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and codes.
  • Handle any problems or delays that may arise, finding efficient and effective solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Maintain detailed records of all project activities, including materials, labor, and equipment usage.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers, providing regular updates on project status.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role in the construction industry, specifically with commercial, healthcare and institutional projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle any issues or delays that may arise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Proficiency in construction software, such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or similar.
  • Ability to travel extensively and relocate as needed based on project locations.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification is a plus.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
