Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Traveling Superintendent, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycles, from initial planning to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Coordinating and supervising the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure project tasks are executed effectively.
3. Conducting regular site inspections to verify that work is progressing as planned, adhering to safety regulations, and meeting client specifications.
4. Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
5. Implementing comprehensive project schedules, tracking progress, and making necessary adjustments to meet project deadlines.
6. Managing and resolving any issues or emergencies that may arise on the construction site.
7. Ensuring all construction activities align with environmental and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in multifamily, commercial, hospitality, and restaurant construction projects.
3. A solid understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficiency in construction management software.
8. The ability to travel extensively and relocate as needed.
9. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
