We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Treasury Manager to join our fast-paced technology firm. This role is pivotal in managing our company's liquidity, capital, and risk, ensuring our financial stability and sustainable growth. Responsibilities:
As a Treasury Manager, you will:
1. Manage the company's daily cash flow and forecast its future position. This includes monitoring all financial transactions, ensuring accurate record keeping, and identifying opportunities for improving cash flow.
2. Develop and execute effective hedging strategies to mitigate financial risks related to foreign exchange rates, interest rates, and other market risks.
3. Design, implement, and manage treasury reporting dashboards that provide clear, concise, and timely information to senior management and other stakeholders.
4. Review and analyze banking and investment management fees, ensuring the company is receiving optimal services at the best possible cost.
5. Manage the company's debt portfolio, including overseeing borrowing activities, negotiating with lenders, and maintaining compliance with covenants and other loan terms.
6. Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in treasury management, using this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Treasury Manager position will have:
1. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury management, preferably in the technology industry.
3. Demonstrated expertise in forecasting cash flow, managing financial risk, and overseeing a debt portfolio.
4. Proficiency in designing and managing treasury reporting dashboards.
5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review and analyze banking and investment management fees.
6. Excellent negotiation skills, with a proven track record of securing favorable terms and conditions for debt and other financial arrangements.
7. A thorough understanding of financial markets, banking systems, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
8. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
9. A strategic mindset, with the ability to anticipate future scenarios and plan accordingly.
