Job Details
We are seeking a Business Trial Associate Attorney with 3–6 years of litigation experience to join a nationally recognized healthcare litigation practice in Los Angeles.
The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial litigation fundamentals, excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to take ownership of complex matters with increasing independence.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $260,000–$390,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and other relevant factors.
The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial litigation fundamentals, excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to take ownership of complex matters with increasing independence.
Responsibilities include:
- Handle complex commercial litigation and healthcare-related disputes
- Take and defend depositions
- Research, draft, and argue motions
- Assist with case strategy, discovery, fact development, and trial preparation
- Manage key workstreams and help oversee more junior attorneys when appropriate
- Work directly with clients on litigation strategy, status updates, and case development
- Support matters involving healthcare regulatory disputes, reimbursement issues, privacy concerns, investigations,
- Collaborate with attorneys across litigation, healthcare, and regulatory practice areas
Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of business or commercial litigation experience
- Comparable law firm experience strongly preferred
- Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school
- Experience managing litigation matters and supervising or mentoring junior attorneys preferred
- Exceptional legal writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills
- Deposition, motion practice, and trial preparation experience preferred
- Trial experience is a plus, but not required
- Federal clerkship experience is a plus
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
- Resume, law school transcript, and writing sample required for consideration
Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $260,000–$390,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and other relevant factors.
