We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trial Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for representing our clients in court, presenting evidence, and making legal arguments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Responsibilities:
As a Trial Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Representing clients in court, arguing motions, and managing all aspects of litigation.
2. Researching and analyzing complex legal issues, preparing legal documents, and advising clients on their legal rights.
3. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to avoid court proceedings.
4. Developing litigation strategies and presenting cases to judges and juries.
5. Working collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and industry trends.
7. Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience with Trial experience
3. Experience in Insurance Defense, Energy or Transportation sectors.
4. Proven experience as a trial attorney with a strong track record of successful litigation.
5. Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgement.
8. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office suite.
