We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Truck Logistics Merchant to join our dynamic Sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who has a proven track record in Operations Management, Logistics Coordination, and Freight Carrier Management. As a Truck Logistics Merchant, you will play a pivotal role in managing our fleet of trucks, ensuring efficient freight transportation, and driving sales growth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective logistics strategies to maximize productivity and profitability, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure optimal truck utilization and timely freight delivery.
2. Develop and implement effective logistics strategies that align with our company's objectives.
3. Negotiate contracts with freight carriers to secure the most cost-effective and reliable transportation services.
4. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
5. Manage relationships with key clients, suppliers, and transportation partners.
6. Oversee the tracking of all shipments, deliveries, and customer orders.
7. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to truck logistics and freight transportation.
8. Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise in the logistics process.
9. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and performance.
10. Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Sales industry.
3. Proven experience in Operations Management, Logistics Coordination, and Freight Carrier Management.
4. Strong knowledge of logistics and inventory management software.
5. Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
8. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
10. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
