We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Trust & Estate Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in wealth management, tax planning, estate tax planning, and elder law. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with high net-worth clients and provide legal advice on wealth management strategies. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from wherever you are, although we are particularly interested in candidates from New York, New Jersey, and Florida.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive legal advice to our high net-worth clients on matters related to wealth management, tax planning, and estate tax planning.
2. Prepare and review various legal documents related to trusts and estates.
3. Represent clients in trust and estate litigation, ensuring their rights and interests are protected.
4. Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize estate taxes and maximize wealth transfer to beneficiaries.
5. Stay abreast of federal and state laws related to trusts, estates, and elder law to provide up-to-date advice to clients.
6. Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to ensure a holistic approach to wealth management and estate planning.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Trust & Estate Attorney.
3. Admission to the State Bar in New York, New Jersey, or Florida.
4. Extensive knowledge and experience in wealth management, tax planning, estate tax planning, and elder law.
5. Familiarity with estate and employment law.
6. Proven experience in trust and estate litigation.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously in a remote work environment.
10. High ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with clients, colleagues, and the court.
11. Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
12. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
