Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated, motivated attorney admitted to practice in New Jersey with significant experience in estate planning and estate administration of complex estates. Lateral attorneys or solo practitioners with an existing book of business is a plus. Tax, special needs planning and elder law experience is also a plus.
1. Drafting, reviewing, and implementing wills, trusts, estates, and other estate planning documents.
2. Providing comprehensive legal advice to clients regarding estate planning, probate, trust administration.
3. Representing clients in probate and trust litigation matters.
4. Navigating complex legal and financial situations, offering sound advice and solutions.
5. Collaborating with tax professionals, financial planners, and other attorneys to develop and implement effective estate plans.
6. Keeping abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients’ estate plans.
7. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, offering them peace of mind and confidence in their estate planning decisions.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Trust & Estates attorney, with a strong record of client satisfaction.
4. In-depth knowledge of estate planning and administration.
5. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
6. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
7. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and cases simultaneously.
