Job Details
Responsibilities
Oversee a varied portfolio of probate, guardianship, and estate planning cases from start to finish.
Advise clients on estate-related legal matters, including the preparation and execution of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, and strategies for asset protection.
Prepare, analyze, and revise legal documents such as probate and guardianship petitions, trust instruments, and associated court filings.
Perform thorough legal research and analysis to support case development and maintain adherence to current statutes and case law.
Advocate for clients in court appearances, hearings, and mediation sessions with professionalism and persuasive communication.
Work collaboratively with attorneys and administrative staff to deliver a seamless and client-focused legal experience.
Keep well-maintained records, calendars, and case files to meet deadlines and adhere to court protocols.
Prioritize tasks effectively to enhance productivity and ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services while optimizing billable time.
Qualifications
Barred in Florida
Proven ability to manage a comprehensive caseload in probate, guardianship, and estate planning from initiation through conclusion.
Strong foundation in advising clients on estate planning elements, including trust and will creation, durable powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
Experience drafting and evaluating a range of legal documents relevant to estate and probate law.
Skilled in legal research and strategic case planning with a deep understanding of applicable legal frameworks.
Courtroom and mediation experience, with a demonstrated ability to advocate assertively and ethically.
Commitment to collaborative practice and delivering exceptional client service as part of a legal team.
Organized and detail-oriented, with proficiency in managing deadlines, documentation, and case logistics.
