Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on all aspects of trusts and estate planning, including wills, trusts, estates, probate, and related tax issues.
2. Draft and review legal documents such as wills, trusts, estate plans, and powers of attorney.
3. Collaborate with clients to develop personalized estate plans and provide legal guidance on estate and gift tax matters.
4. Represent clients in probate and trust administration matters, ensuring efficient and effective execution of estate plans.
5. Manage and resolve complex legal issues related to estate planning and trusts.
6. Stay abreast of the latest developments in trusts and estate planning law, applying this knowledge to client cases.
7. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in trusts and estate planning law.
4. Proven track record of handling complex legal matters related to trusts and estate planning.
5. Strong knowledge of federal and state laws related to estate planning, trusts, and probate.
6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
10. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
11. Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
