Job Details

You'll counsel individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning and asset protection, and manage trust and estate administration from inception through completion.

  • Design and draft personalized, flexible estate plans — wills, trusts, and wealth-transfer structures — coordinating with clients' financial advisors
  • Advise on sophisticated asset protection and multi-generational wealth transfer techniques
  • Manage trust and estate administration, including preparation of estate and gift tax returns
  • Prepare estate and trust accountings and related documents to move administration efficiently
  • Partner with the firm's business, tax, and real estate groups on overlapping client matters

Looking for:

  • Illinois Bar admission
  • 3+ years trusts and estates experience with an estate planning and administration focus
  • Associate through of counsel welcomed

Experience in any of the following areas welcomed:

  • Estate and gift tax
  • Asset protection planning
  • Trust and estate administration
  • Business and succession planning
  • Tax law
