We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Trusts & Estates Partner to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute their expertise in estate, probate, and trust administration to our well-established firm. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing, planning, and executing a broad range of trusts and estates matters, providing strategic advice to clients, and contributing to the growth and success of our team. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute their expertise in estate, probate, and trust administration to our well-established firm. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing, planning, and executing a broad range of trusts and estates matters, providing strategic advice to clients, and contributing to the growth and success of our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of trusts and estates, superior analytical skills, and a strong commitment to client service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert counsel to clients on all aspects of trusts and estates, including estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
- Develop and implement comprehensive estate plans that meet client's specific objectives and needs.
- Manage all aspects of trust administration, including the preparation of trust accounts, tax returns, and other necessary documentation.
- Represent clients in probate court proceedings and handle all aspects of probate administration.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategies for business development and client service improvement.
- Stay abreast of developments in trusts and estates law and practice, and participate in professional development activities to continually improve skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the firm's reputation by delivering high-quality, professional services to clients.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in trusts and estates, with a focus on estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Current license to practice law in the state.
- Strong understanding of federal and state laws related to trusts and estates.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex trusts and estates matters.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Strong business development skills, with a proven ability to attract and retain clients.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
