Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical examinations and medical assessments to diagnose and treat patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work
- Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary
- Provide patient education on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care in electronic medical records
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in Urgent Care or Primary Care
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficient in electronic medical records and computer applications
- Strong commitment to patient care and quality improvement initiatives
