Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Conduct patient assessments, perform physical exams, and review medical histories
- Diagnose and manage common urological conditions, including UTIs, kidney stones, incontinence, and prostate issues
- Assist in minor urological procedures and provide pre- and post-operative care
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work, imaging, and urodynamic studies
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies
- Educate patients on disease prevention, treatment options, and post-treatment care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Qualifications:
- Nurse Practitioner (NP): MSN or DNP from an accredited program, with board certification as a Family or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner
- Physician Assistant (PA): Graduation from an accredited PA program with NCCPA certification
- Active and unrestricted Arizona state license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in urology, surgery, or internal medicine preferred but not required
- Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
