Job Details

Our growing team is seeking a dedicated and skilled Vascular Technologist to join us as a full-time employee. As a Vascular Technologist, you will be responsible for performing non-invasive vascular tests and clinical evaluations. You will be an integral part of a team that collaborates to ensure the highest level of patient care. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant Vascular Tech experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct non-invasive vascular tests including but not limited to carotid duplex ultrasound studies, upper & lower arterial duplex, physiologic exams, venous duplex for DVT, Abdominal vessels, Dialysis Fistula pre & post-surgical evaluations, and venous insufficiency studies.
  • Provide preliminary interpretation of data collected and communicate results to physicians.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all necessary data is included.
  • Collaborate with physicians on STAT findings, and other healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate patient care.
  • Maintain and calibrate vascular technology equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients regarding procedures and post-procedure care.
  • Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated with the latest advancements in vascular technology.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification is required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Vascular Technologist.
  • Knowledge of vascular system and related pathologies.
  • Proficiency with vascular technology equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret a wide range of vascular tests.
  • Excellent patient care skills, with the ability to reassure and explain procedures to patients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to comply with all safety and health regulations.
  • Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) software.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
