1. Conducting routine check-ups on animals to assess their health condition and discover any potential ailments or diseases.
2. Administering vaccines to animals to prevent common diseases.
3. Performing surgeries on animals, including spaying and neutering.
4. Diagnosing and treating a wide range of health issues in animals, from minor infections to chronic diseases.
5. Providing emergency care to animals suffering from severe illnesses or injuries.
6. Educating pet owners on the proper care of their pets, including diet, hygiene practices and preventive healthcare.
7. Collaborating with veterinary assistants and other staff to provide top-notch care to animals.
8. Keeping detailed records of treatments, surgeries and other medical procedures performed.

Job Details
Qualifications:
1. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian, with a focus on small and large animals.
3. Valid state veterinary license.
4. Proven surgical skills and experience with various medical procedures.
5. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficiency with veterinary software for record keeping.
7. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and staff.
8. Compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine love for animals.
9. Ability to handle stressful situations and manage emergencies with calm and efficiency.
10. Commitment to continuing education to stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
