Job Details

We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for providing general veterinary services to a variety of small animals, including some exotics.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting physical examinations on animals to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.
  • Performing routine surgeries, including spaying and neutering, dental procedures, and soft tissue surgeries.
  • Prescribing medication and administering treatments to animals as needed.
  • Educating pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and updating client information.
  • Collaborating with other veterinary professionals to provide the best possible care to animals.
  • Participating in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
  • 2+ years of experience in general practice and routine surgery.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively.
  • Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state.
