Job Details
The Vice President – Electric Utilities will join the senior leadership team and report directly to executive leadership.
You will oversee a team currently focused on substation design, protection/control, relay settings, and transmission line engineering. Over time, this portfolio could expand to include distribution and other verticals. The expectation is not just to manage, but to bring clarity, structure, and strategic direction to a team that is strong but ready for a been-there-done-that strategic leader who still has passion to build.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive aggressive revenue growth by developing strategy, expanding client relationships, and securing multi-year partnerships with IOUs.
- Build and scale systems, teams, and processes to deliver consistent quality at scale.
- Mentor and elevate the current VP while developing HiPo teams across utilities.
- Serve as a visible member of the SLT, shaping the company’s market approach and long-term roadmap.
- Partner with sales and business development to secure new work with large utilities.
- Lead the business through complexity, balancing technical rigor with commercial and people leadership.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering leadership.
- Demonstrated expertise in utilities — substation, transmission, high-voltage systems.
- Proven ability to lead large, multi-disciplinary teams and scale delivery.
- High EQ leadership style, focused on mentorship, clarity, and team morale.
- Strong commercial acumen, with P&L oversight and business development success.
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related; PE preferred.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
