We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to fill the role of Permanent Vice President, Marketing & Communications in the Non-Profit industry. This is a unique opportunity to join a passionate team, dedicated to making a significant impact on healthcare access and quality. The successful candidate will spearhead the development and implementation of innovative marketing and communication strategies that promote our mission, services, and brand. You will play a key role in driving our organization's growth and engagement, shaping our public image, and ensuring our message resonates with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that enhances visibility and influence, drives growth, and supports the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing and promotional materials, both print and digital, ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience.
  • Lead the development of an effective media relations strategy that positions the organization as a thought leader and advocate in the healthcare industry.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define marketing and communication benchmarks and KPIs, and to regularly measure and report on the success of marketing and communication efforts.
  • Develop and manage the marketing and communications budget, and ensure resources are used efficiently.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of marketing and communications professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the non-profit sector.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing successful marketing and communication strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges.
  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders, including donors, board members, and community partners.
  • Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate.
  • Proficiency in project management and team management skills.
