Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for the role of Vice President of Loan Operations. This role is an integral part of our Accounting and Finance team and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of loan operations, including the administration, management, and strategic planning of the department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in FDICIA, banking, general ledger, and reconciliations. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily loan operations, including loan processing, underwriting, closing, and servicing.
2. Develop and implement strategic plans for the loan operations department.
3. Ensure compliance with FDICIA and other relevant regulations.
4. Maintain the bank's general ledger and perform reconciliations as necessary.
5. Manage a team of loan operations staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
6. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
7. Analyze loan data and generate reports for senior management.
8. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance and competitiveness.
9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
10. Participate in risk management and audit activities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An advanced degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in loan operations, including experience in a leadership role.
3. In-depth knowledge of FDICIA, banking regulations, and loan processes.
4. Proficiency in general ledger management and reconciliations.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills.
6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. High level of integrity and professionalism.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan management software.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
