Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Desktop Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. As a Virtual Desktop Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions using VMware, vSphere, and Horizon VDI technologies. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure that our virtual desktop environment is secure, reliable, and scalable.

- Design and implement virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions using VMware, vSphere, and Horizon VDI technologies.
- Manage and maintain the virtual desktop environment, including provisioning, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Configure and manage Active Directory, group policy, and Windows administration in a virtual desktop environment.
- Optimize virtual desktop performance by configuring vGPU and Nvidia technologies.
- Monitor and analyze virtual desktop infrastructure performance, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure that virtual desktop infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable.
- Develop and maintain documentation for virtual desktop infrastructure solutions and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions using VMware, vSphere, and Horizon VDI technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, group policy, and Windows administration in a virtual desktop environment.
- Experience with vGPU and Nvidia technologies for virtual desktop performance optimization.
- Experience with ESXi and other virtualization technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong documentation skills.
