A bit about us:

A fast growth software firm is looking to expand their team by bringing on an experienced VP of Data Engineering to build out their data engineering practice. The role would offer heavy involvement in the design and strategy to set up a brand new data warehouse for the organization. You would be involved in setting up the ETL pipelines and tools in order to migrate the data into one common data source. This is a player coach position where you will be hands in the systems, as well as leading and mentoring a team.

100% remote, but must be located in EST time zone.

Job Details

Bachelors in STEM related field
8+ years of professional experience working with large data sets
4+ years leading and managing technical teams
Expert level experience working on designing and implementing data warehouses (Azure Data Lake, Snowflake, etc)
Expert in SQL
Ability to design and implement REST APIs
Experience with Jenkins Server automation/configuration management solutions
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines
Experience working in an Agile environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
