We are seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President of Finance to oversee Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for our portfolio. This executive will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of our financial operations while driving strategic financial leadership to support business growth. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in accounting and FP&A within the retail, apparel, or consumer goods industries, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of accounting, including financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Oversee preparation and filing of quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls aligned with best practices.
Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve complex transactions and support business initiatives.
Provide strategic financial leadership to guide investment opportunities, operational decisions, and growth initiatives.
Drive operating efficiency through disciplined budget oversight and strong negotiation skills.
Manage external relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
Monitor and interpret changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing accounting and finance team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree and CPA strongly preferred.
15+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance leadership within retail, apparel, or consumer goods industries.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, PCAOB, and tax regulations.
Experience working with multi-brand portfolios and retail distribution channels.
Background in private equity-backed environments highly desirable.
Proficiency with BI tools (DOMO, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Proven ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive presence.
Strong FP&A and process improvement skills.
Collaborative business partner to the CFO and senior leadership team.
