Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced VP of Engineering. In this high-impact role, you will be at the forefront of our technology operations, leading and managing our data center design, infrastructure engineering, and strategic solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the design and development of our data centers, ensuring optimal efficiency, security, and scalability
2. Conduct regular audits and reviews of our infrastructure engineering design, identifying areas of improvement and implementing necessary changes
3. Develop strategic solutions to complex technical challenges, leveraging your knowledge of the latest industry trends and technologies
4. Design and lead infrastructure design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality
5. Collaborate with other senior leaders to align technology strategy with business objectives, driving innovation and growth
6. Mentor and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
7. Stay abreast of new trends and innovations in the technology industry, identifying opportunities for us to leverage these in our operations
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 10 years of experience with a strong focus on data center design and infrastructure engineering
2. Proven experience in auditing and reviewing infrastructure engineering designs, with a track record of implementing improvements that drive efficiency and performance
3. Demonstrated ability to develop strategic solutions to complex technical challenges
4. A strong portfolio of successfully led infrastructure design projects
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams
6. Strong understanding of the latest trends and innovations in the technology industry
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong analytical mindset
8. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
9. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
10. Relevant industry certifications are a plus
11. Experience with AutoCAD and Revit/BIM
