VP of Finance

We are a leader in datacenter architecture and we are currently looking for a VP of Finance to join our growing team in The Woodlands, TX.

Oversight and management of the ERCOT settlement processes for:

• Wholesale market transactions
• Retail market transactions
• Emergency Response Service
• Other ERCOT settlements
• Oversight and management of the Financial Operations and its affiliates, including:
• Bank account coordination and management
• Cash and Treasury management activities
• Bill/Pay/Collect activities
• State and local taxes
• Credit and collateral requirements for vendors and customers
• Coordination of accounting activities, including:
• Oversight of out-sourced account function
• Coordination with Auditor
• Coordination with tax advisors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Knowledge of and experience with ERCOT protocols and settlement processes
• Excellent analytical, organization and time management skills, with the ability to maintain a strict level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate a vested interest in team goals and objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships.
• Self-motivated with the desire to consistently improve performance and gain further knowledge.
• Ability to meet deadlines, learn quickly and demonstrate effective problem solving and follow-up skills.
