We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Software Engineering to lead our software development team in the medical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large team of full time employees and ensuring the development and delivery of high-quality software products. The position requires a deep understanding of C#, .net, and other software development tools and techniques. The candidate must also have experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

- Lead the software development team in the medical industry to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software products
- Define and implement software development standards and ensure adherence to them
- Manage software development projects from inception to delivery
- Review and manage the leadership of the software development team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software products into the medical industry
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and capabilities
- Ensure the software products are tested and meet quality assurance standards
- Manage the deployment of software products to Azure and other cloud-based platforms
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the software development industry
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 12+ years of Leadership within Software Dev space
- Strong experience with C#, .net, Javascript, React, Angular, Ember, RESTful APIs, LAMP stack, PHP, and other software development tools and techniques
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing large teams of 50+ FTEs
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills to enhance team members' skills and capabilities
- Strong experience with quality assurance and testing practices
- Experience with Azure and other cloud-based platforms
- Certifications in software development and related fields are a plus
