Job Details
We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Software to lead the design, development, and delivery of our healthcare technology platform. In this role, you’ll drive the engineering vision, manage high-performing teams, and ensure our software products are secure, scalable, and compliant with industry standards.
What You’ll Do
Define and execute the software engineering strategy in alignment with business and product goals.
Lead multiple engineering teams across frontend, backend, DevOps, QA, and data.
Drive architectural decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and data privacy (HIPAA/GDPR compliance).
Own the software development lifecycle, from planning to release, ensuring high velocity and quality.
Partner with product, design, and operations to deliver features that improve user experience and clinical outcomes.
Build and mentor a strong engineering culture focused on accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
Oversee third-party integrations and interoperability with EHRs, APIs, and digital health platforms.
Set KPIs and track progress toward platform reliability, security, and user engagement.
What You Bring
10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
Proven track record of building and scaling complex software systems, ideally in healthcare or regulated industries.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP), modern web and mobile frameworks, and CI/CD best practices.
Experience with data privacy regulations and security protocols in healthcare environments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to align technical execution with strategic goals.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
