Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Lead and oversee inventory control to support manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure accurate management of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods inventory.
  • Perform and reconcile cycle counts, physical counts, and inventory audits.
  • Monitor and adjust MRP to align raw material availability with production schedules.
  • Review and optimize inventory levels, safety stock, and reorder points.
  • Oversee railcar scheduling, delivery coordination, and silo inventory management.
  • Support cross-functional departments (Accounting, FSQ, Distribution) in inventory-related matters.
  • Develop, train, and manage Inventory Coordinators to achieve department goals.
  • Review and maintain item set-ups and data integrity within ERP systems.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for accuracy and operational efficiency.

Qualifications – Needed
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management within manufacturing.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems (preferably JDE, Vicinity), and MRP.
  • Abilities: Detail-oriented, strong mathematical aptitude, proven supervisory experience, effective written and verbal communication, and ability to maintain high accuracy and compliance with SOPs.
