Job Details
Materials Supervisor
Primary Purpose:
Oversees material flow and inventory accuracy at the Mesquite, TX plant, ensuring efficient operations for production and shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound (40%) – Manages inventory transactions and placement for production, ensuring procedures are followed.
Warehouse Management (30%) – Maintains stocking profiles, requests cycle counts, investigates discrepancies, and implements corrective actions.
Outbound (30%) – Supervises the shipment of finished goods to fulfill customer orders.
Assists in other areas as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong organization, attention to detail, and math skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.
Effective communication and teamwork with diverse groups.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Education & Experience:
3 years of warehouse experience, 2 years in supervision.
High School diploma or GED required; college preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Supervisory Role:
Oversees 4-5 material handlers and collaborates with shared resources under the Director of Supply Chain Operations.
