Job Details
We are seeking great leader to take on our Warehouse Manager role!
As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes are in place to meet our production demands, and monitoring employee activities.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations: Manage and optimize all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping of materials and products. Ensure accurate inventory control and implement efficient storage solutions.
Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure high performance and productivity. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline operations.
Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory control strategies to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize stock discrepancies. Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role (ideally within distribution or manufacturing)
2. ERP System: Proficient in working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to manage warehouse operations and inventory control. Microsoft office is also important
3. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams.
4. Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement effective solutions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with team members, senior management, and external stakeholders. Bilingual in Spanish is a big plus but not a necessity.
