We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly experienced Warehouse Manager for a permanent position in our construction company. This role requires an individual who is not afraid to get their hands dirty, has a keen eye for detail, and possesses a wealth of knowledge in small engine repair and maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring that they are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with industry standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with more than 5 years of experience in a similar role who is looking to take on a new challenge in a fast-paced, demanding, but rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all warehouse machinery and equipment, with a particular focus on small engine repair and maintenance.
  • Implement and enforce warehouse safety standards and procedures in accordance with the company and industry regulations.
  • Develop and execute strategies for improving warehouse operations, including the implementation of new technologies or processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure smooth operation across all sectors of the company.
  • Train, supervise and evaluate warehouse staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle any issues or delays in the supply chain swiftly and effectively, minimizing any potential impact on business operations.

Qualifications:

  • More than 1 years of experience in a warehouse management role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in small engine repair and maintenance.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in using warehouse management software and other related technology.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A thorough understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
  • A relevant qualification in logistics, business management, or a related field would be advantageous.
