- Manage the warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with safety regulations and standards
- Create and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure that all products are properly stored and accounted for
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that warehouse activities align with overall business objectives
- Conduct regular audits to ensure that all equipment and machinery are functioning properly
- Manage the budget for the warehouse department and provide regular reports to senior management
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Area Superintendent
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and standards
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other warehouse management software
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
