Our company is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Permanent Project Engineer to join our growing Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction team. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge in wastewater treatment processes and systems to address complex challenges in the construction industry. As a Wastewater Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, managing, and implementing comprehensive wastewater treatment projects. This role demands a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordination of the engineering & construction processes of wastewater treatment facilities and systems.
2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective and sustainable wastewater treatment solutions.
3. Conduct feasibility studies for proposed projects, including cost estimates, resource allocation, and timeline projections.
4. Apply your knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and regulations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
5. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and completion.
6. Prepare technical reports, specifications, and drawings for wastewater treatment systems and processes.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wastewater treatment systems.
8. Keep abreast of advancements in wastewater treatment technologies and processes to ensure the company's competitive edge.
9. Promote safety standards and practices within the work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 1 years of experience in the design and management of wastewater treatment projects in the construction industry.
3. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
4. Proficiency in wastewater treatment processes such as activated sludge, anaerobic digestion, nutrient removal, disinfection, and solids handling.
5. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to wastewater treatment.
6. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Proficient in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
8. Exceptional communication and team collaboration skills.
9. Ability to solve complex problems and make sound decisions based on engineering principles.
10. Commitment to sustainable practices and a keen interest in environmental preservation.
