Job Details

Responsibilities:
As a Water Resources Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all water resource management activities, including shoring, sewer, grading, site development, stormwater, erosion control, hydrology, and wastewater.
2. Developing and implementing effective water resource management strategies that align with our company's environmental sustainability goals.
3. Conducting regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and standards.
4. Collaborating with various teams to integrate water resource considerations into our construction projects from the initial planning stages through to completion.
5. Preparing detailed reports and presentations on our water resource management activities for senior management and external stakeholders.
6. Providing expert advice and guidance on water resource issues to our team and clients.
7. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in water resource management and incorporating these into our strategies and practices.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Water Resources Manager role will have:

1. A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Hydrology, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in water resource management, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proven experience in shoring, sewer, grading, site development, stormwater, erosion control, hydrology, and wastewater.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. A solid understanding of environmental regulations and standards related to water resource management.
7. Proficient in using various software tools for hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
9. Professional registration as a hydrologist or equivalent would be highly advantageous.
