Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced Permanent Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and exciting projects, using cutting-edge welding technologies. The successful candidate will have a strong background in plastic welding, blueprint interpretation, and schematic diagrams. With a commitment to quality and efficiency, this role plays a crucial part in maintaining the high standards of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Welder, you will be responsible for:

1. Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the method and sequence of welding operations.
2. Operating plastic welding equipment in accordance with safety protocols and standards.
3. Performing various types of welds, including butt and fillet, on different types of materials.
4. Inspecting and assessing the quality of welds to ensure conformance with specifications.
5. Maintaining and repairing welding tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
6. Collaborating with a team of skilled professionals to meet project deadlines and objectives.
7. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
8. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Welder position will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a welding role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven expertise in plastic welding.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
4. A solid understanding of welding tools, equipment, and safety protocols.
5. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify flaws in welds and take corrective action.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
8. A commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
9. A welding certification or equivalent is preferred.
